Björk brings multimedia exhibition to the UK!
Throughout the year the iconic Björk has toured around the world showcasing her multimedia exhibition “Björk Digital,” an art piece infusing hypnotic virtual reality technology with music from her late album Vulnicura. Excitingly, the Icelandic singer-songwriter recently announced that she will be presenting the uniquely curated installation at London’s Somerset House in England from Sept. 1st to Oct. 23rd.
Somerset House invites visitors to additionally witness never-before-seen pieces from Björk and a video sequence screening the legendary artist’s full career. As part of the exhibit’s UK debut, Bjork is also set to headline her only UK show this year at the Royal Albert Hall on Sept. 21st.
Fragments of the exhibition were included in Björk’s 2015 MoMa display and varieties could be viewed in Tokyo and Australia this year. Make sure to lock in the timeline, Sept. 1st to Oct. 23rd, to visit the immersive exhibition.
